Terms and Conditions

Before using iLaundromat Pty Ltd services, carefully read the terms and conditions (‘T&Cs’) set out below.

You will not be able to engage with Our Services if you do not agree to Our T&Cs by ticking the acceptance box when you set up Your account.

These T&Cs apply to our iLaundromat’ website ilaundromat.com.au



When the following words with capital letters are used in these T&Cs, this is what they will mean;

Collection means the time when Your Items are collected by an iLaundromat employee;

Delivered means the time when Your Items are returned to you after the Services have been provided;

Dryclean means single item washing or dry clean, as determined by your care label instructions on the Items of clothing. If the care label is missing, Items will only be cleaned in accordance with Your instructions noted in the ‘Cleaning Instructions’;

Event Outside Our Control means any occurrences or circumstances over which We have no control (as described below) and including (without limitation) the unavailability of any Service Provider, key personnel, or key materials, without which We are unable to provide the Services;

Item means any Item of clothing or laundry or linen item collected from You as associated with Your Order;

Order means Your Order for the Services as submitted via Our Website or App;

Services mean personal dry cleaning or laundry services collected from and delivered to Your nominated address;

Service Providers means any third party with which we contract to assist Us in providing the Services;

T&Cs mean these terms and conditions, as amended from time to time;

Wash.Dry.Fold means a bag of general garments that are collectively machine-washed and machine tumble dried and are separated into bundles of whites and colours;

We/Our/Us means iLaundromat Pty. Ltd.; Adelaide SA, Australia.

Writing/Written means any notification by email or notification via Our App/Website.



These T&Cs will apply to any Order We accept via Our App/Website.

The T&Cs that are applicable to You are those available at the time of Your Order.

These T&Cs are modified from time to time and We will notify You in Writing of any changes. You acknowledge iLaundromat’s website or App, You agree to Our collection, use, and disclosure of Your information as per Our Privacy Policy.

These T&Cs supersede prior agreements or arrangements with You.

You should review these T&Cs before providing Us with any information.

A contract arises between You and Us once You receive an email confirming acceptance of Your Order. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms.

Additional terms may be stipulated in these T&Cs for specific promotions or activities, and they will be stipulated in connection with the specific Service. Supplemental terms are in addition to, and shall be deemed a part of, these T&Cs for the purposes of the applicable Services. Supplemental terms shall prevail over the terms of these T&Cs in the event of a conflict with respect to the applicable Services.

We may transfer Our rights and obligations under these T&Cs to another organisation. We will always notify You in Writing if this happens, but this will not affect Your rights or Our obligations under these Terms.

We reserve the right, at Our sole discretion, to terminate Your Account and/or access to iLaundromat Services. In the event of any termination, You will be responsible for paying for Services performed prior to termination. You shall have no right to claim any loss, damage or compensation whatsoever against Us should We exercise any of Our rights under these T&Cs.

The T&Cs are governed by the laws of South Australia. Any claim or dispute between You and Us that arises in whole or in part from the T&Cs shall be decided exclusively by a court of the competent jurisdiction in Adelaide, South Australia.



iLaundromat are a premium laundry cleaning company that picks up and delivers to Your door. iLaundromat’ Orders are placed solely through our website. Once ordered, an iLaundromat employee will pick up and deliver Your Items. Once the Items have been cleaned, they will be returned to You by one of Our iLaundromat employees.

Please ensure the details of Your Order are checked before submitting as We are not liable to You for any errors You make. If You believe You have made a mistake, please notify us in writing so we can amend Your Order by using the Contact Form below.

Your Order will have an individual order number attached to it which will be made available in Writing.

If for any reason We cannot fulfill Your Order, we will notify You immediately in Writing.

Orders may be changed at any time before the agreed collection time. You must notify Us in Writing, by using the Contact Form below, of these changes.

At Our discretion, We may need to amend Your Order rather than cancel completely. In this instance, You will be notified in Writing.



Orders may be cancelled any time with up to 2 hours’ notice. If cancelled with less than 2 hours’ notice, a $10 cancellation fee will be incurred. Cancellations must be made to Us in Writing by using the Contact Form below. If You cancel an Order after Collection has occurred, You will incur the $10 cancellation fee and we will endeavor to return Your Items within a reasonable time.

If You fail to make Your Order available for collection You will incur an $10 fee.

We may cancel Your Order if an Event Outside Our Control occurs.

We may cancel Your Order if We consider that any Item is damaged, has no information about its content or cleaning instructions, or does not fall within those Items which we accept (for a full list of excluded items please refer to iLaundromat.com.au/FAQ).

You will be notified in Writing if we need to cancel Your Order. We will arrange for Your Items to be delivered as soon as reasonably possible.



We endeavour to collect and deliver Your Order at the specified times but We cannot guarantee to do so. Any delays will be communicated with You in Writing or by phone.

Your Order will be Delivered at a minimum of 48 hours from the time of Collection, at an agreed time of Your choosing. Same Day Orders can be arranged for an added charge of $10 per bag/basket.

Third parties may hand over Your Order, only with consent in the ‘Pick Up and Drop Off Instructions’ section when submitting Your Order. Third parties must sign on Your behalf and You acknowledge this will occur at Your own risk. We are not liable for Your Order (damage and loss) in this instance.

You must be home to sign and collect Your delivery.

Fees are $4.00/kg or minimum $40 per order. (Pricing excludes GST)

If delivery is to be rescheduled, this request must be in Writing by using the Contact Form below and 5 hours’ notice must be provided. If less than 5 hours’ notice is provided a fee of $10 will be charged. The fee will be charged for each consequent attempt at delivery. However, if a redelivery is urgent, it is the customers’ responsibility to organise a same day courier or collection from Our facilities.

If delivery has failed to occur within 30 days from the original Order, Your Order may be disposed of or donated to a charity of Our choosing.

If You are not available at the specified delivery time, we will contact You by phone or in Writing to arrange redelivery.

Collection and deliveries are acknowledged by a signature.



We endeavor to provide Our Services with care and caution and endeavor to uphold a high industry standard.

We are not liable for delays in Orders when information has been omitted regarding Your Order (i.e., incomplete delivery details, incorrect delivery details, etc.).

Your Wash.Dry.Fold Order will be separated into bags of whites and colours. The utmost care will be taken to separate the whites from colours, however, iLaundromat will not be held liable for any bleeding or colour transfer during the cleaning process.

It is Your responsibility to ensure Items are placed into the bags provided with clear instructions.

We will not be liable for damage to Items in a Wash.Dry.Fold as we wash by the bag and do not inspect the care labels of individuals garment contained within. Those garments that need to be specially treated should be separated from a Wash.Dry.Fold (i.e., cashmere, velvet, silk, embroidered, or embellished items that should be dry-cleaned only, iLaundromat do not currently offer a dry cleaning or ironing service. You will be notified when iLaundromat will have these extra services up and running.

At Our discretion, we may Service Your Items without care label instructions. Permission must be granted in writing in the ‘Cleaning Instructions’ section when placing Your Order.

Clothes are washed at 30 degrees and are tumble dried at a medium heat. Personal specifications cannot be catered for. We hold no responsibility if colour bleeding, discoloration and/or shrinkage occurs.

We hold no responsibility for extraneous Items (i.e., money, pens, keys etc.) lost or damaged during Our Service.

Wash.Dry.Fold bags are tagged by the load and are not individually tagged. Therefore, we cannot accept any liability for missing Items. However, We will do everything possible to minimize loss of Your Items.

Wash.Dry.Fold bags will be weighed once they reach Our facilities and Your Order will be updated in Writing to reflect the weight and subsequent charge. For pricing purposes, the minimum weight is 10kg and every kilogram over is charged accordingly. Orders that weigh less than the minimum amount of 10kg will be charged at the minimum rate of 10kg.

We will not clean leather and suede goods, embroidered, or embellished items or any items of a delicate nature. It is Your responsibility not to include these in any bags.

Wash.Dry.Fold Services are not stain treated and we take no responsibility for failure to remove stains. Items that are heavily stained or soiled must be washed individually or collectively washed with an additional in wash stain removal at an additional charge.



If You are dissatisfied with Your Service please contact Us as soon as possible in Writing by using the Contact Form below. If You believe We are in breach of Our obligations under these T&Cs, We should be notified within 48 hours after an Order is Delivered. Complaints will be dealt with in a timely and professional manner.

If You are not completely satisfied and notify us within 24 hours of the Order being Delivered, We will re-clean Your Items at no charge. Pictures or videos must be included in Your communication to identify any problems. Any requests for re-cleaning submitted after 24 hours will be considered on a discretionary basis. Some stains cannot be removed and in this case re-cleans for these Items will not occur.



Our pricing schedule is available in once you have registered on our website and is subject to change. The price applicable is the price stated at the time an Order is placed. Any price change will not affect Orders already confirmed. Although payment is captured when an Order is placed, payment is charged once Our Services have been completed.

Amended Orders will be modified once Your Items reach Our facilities. Amendments will be notified to You in Writing and You will be charged accordingly.

Payments can be made by PayPal online or via credit cards and debit cards instore.

If for any reason payment is not made, You will be liable to Us for the total amount plus interest. Interest is calculated at the rate of 3% a year above the base lending rate of National Bank of Australia as applicable from the time to time. Interest will accrue on a daily basis from the due date, until the date of actual payment of the entire overdue amount, whether before or after judgment. You must pay Us interest together with any overdue amount.

iLaundromat’ will use a secondary account payment method, when listed, if the primary method is not able to be charged.

Should the payment transaction for the Services be declined or have failed, We reserve the right at Our absolute discretion to refuse to provide the Services.

Charges paid by You are final and non-refundable.



We and Our Service Providers are in full compliance with the Australian regulations governing laundry and dry cleaning services (AS/NZ 4146:2000).

Except as required under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) (as amended from time to time) or any other relevant legislation, We make no warranties and/or representations in respect to the Services, including but not limited to the quality, availability and/or performance of the Services. We are not liable for any claims, loss or damages made by You in this respect.

In the unlikely event of loss or damage to an Item, responsibility and potential compensation calculations will be assessed in accordance with the International Fair Claims Guide for Consumer Textiles Products. These guidelines specify a fair and reasonable compensation amount for the settlement of loss and damage claims for textile products. Any lost or damaged Items need to be reported to Us in Writing within 7 days of being Delivered by using the Contact Form below. In the case of this unlikely event, iLaundromat will request information confirming the purchase price prior to any compensation agreement. Not providing this proof of purchase may hinder compensation outcomes. iLaundromat will also need to visually inspect any damaged Items either face to face or through photos. All claims are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and the outcome will vary depending on apportionment of responsibility

We will not accept Orders for single Items valued at over $200 unless You indicate the Item description and price in Writing (in the ‘Cleaning Instructions’ section when You place Your Order). Once We are aware that an Item is valued over $200, we have full discretion in deciding to clean the Item. In the event we are not comfortable cleaning the Item, We will not charge for our Services with respect to the Item and will return it uncleaned.

iLaundromat’ are not liable for any colour loss, shrinkage, or other damage resulting from the failure to notify Us of special requirements; or no care labels; or existing damage; or extraneous items (i.e. keys, money, jewellery etc.) left in or on the Item.

We are not liable for any consequential loss.

We are not liable for any damage to buttons, zippers, patchwork etc…or other small fastenings.

iLaundromat uses an individual tagging system that is pinned to Your Items. By placing an Order with iLaundromat, You agree that Your Items will be tagged in this manner. These tags will be placed in inconspicuous locations (e.g., in garment tags) where clothes’ will not be damaged. We cannot accept liability for any damage caused by removal from the customer or a third party.

If iLaundromat issues any form of compensation for an Item, the Item becomes the property of iLaundromat.



If an Event Outside Our Control occurs, We will contact You. Events include but are not limited to floods; fires; explosion; earthquakes, other natural disasters; riots; invasions; terrorist attacks; strikes, acts of God; etc. If this occurs, We will endeavour to deliver Your Items in a reasonable timeframe. Our obligations under these Terms will be suspended and the time for performance of Our obligations will be extended for the duration of the Event Outside Our Control.



Your personal information is collected and managed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Your personal information will be used to perform Our service. Your personal information will be used to notify You of similar services or promotions. You may unsubscribe at any time from Our promotional material at the bottom of any Written correspondence. Aside from Our Service Provider, Your information will not be provided to third parties.

You agree and acknowledge that You are fully responsible for the safekeeping of Your personal details, passwords and payment details as provided in connection with the creation and use of the online account on the App/Website.



You agree and acknowledge that:

(a) Our website and its entire content and technology is the property of iLaundromat Pty. Ltd. or any Related Entity (as defined in the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth);

(b) You shall not copy, modify, create a derivative work of, reverse engineer, reverse assemble or otherwise attempt to discover the source code, sell, assign, license, sublicense or otherwise deal with Our Website;

(c) The iLaundromat name, trademarks and intellectual property, including the Website, are the property of iLaundromat Pty. Ltd. or any Related Entity and must not be used by You without Our prior written consent; and

(d) All goodwill generated from the use of Our Website shall vest in iLaundromat Pty. Ltd. or its Related Entity.
